i went to effo-land (aka thailand)

remember this????

i found this picture in some mass mail and i thot it was a daaamn cool t-shirt!!!! and guess whaat???

i fouuuuund the t-shirtttt in thailaaaaaaand!!!!! in a what i thot even more cooler tshirt colour. ahahahhahaha........and of course... i have to get it!

when i was wearing it... it feels a little weird.... cos whenever i look at the mirror... i read the word "love" and naturally i was all smiley and happy.... but i knewwww that when other people read it... they read the word "hate"... .ahhaha.. and that probably wont bring much smiles to their face would it... and they would probably think i'm a very negative person.. ahahahha...

BUT... i still think it's a daaaarn cooool tshirttttt!!

i think i've never mentioned the pushcart that my sister rented.

it is located iat Harbourfront Centre..the shopping mall that is linked to VivoCity...so people...if you are at vivocity...please cross over to harbourfront centre to check out my sis' pushcart. heheehehhe....advertising abit here. Her pushcart is located on the 2nd floor... opposite...the toilet. ahahhaha...

so aniwaeeeee....the trip to thailand this time was to search for more interesting and pretty stuff to put at her pushcart. and my role was more of a.....free labour...to help her carry stuff....bleh... buttt... it's alrite...cos i can get to buy my own stuff as well..ho ho ho....

we took Air Asia.... and when we got on... saw something very unfamiliar..... it says " Use Seat Bottom Cushion for Flotation".....?!?!?!?! i thot it's usually..."Fasten your Seat Belt While Seated" or..."No Smoking" but what?? cushion?? flotation???? and i was like....errrr..does it mean that there's no life jacket????? that we have to use the seat cushion to FLOAT????? i was genuinely scared alrite... and my sis... the smartaleck...said..."yea!" hahahahaha... cos it was a budget airline...so seriously... we thot anything is possible to cut cost for them.... ahhahaha...

but we thot too much. ehhehehe....phewwww... ahahhahaha.... but it was really still pretty weird for me. if i have a life jacket....do i still need a float?

aniwaeeee...... first stop...was MBK. cos it was pretty late in the evening already...there's really nowhere else to go.....

and maaan..that green papaya salad thingy...was really goood maaan....

then my sis brought us to Hard Rock Cafe Bangkok. around Siam something...eheheh...i was just following my sis...cos she's been to bangkok a couple of times already...

and yeaa... ef.... was it the King's birthday or something?? it was "Long Live the King" everywhere we go man....

then we found this really cooool place to chill...

check out the cups-lamp maaaan... so coooool....

next day

the next day was a Sunday...so we went to Jatuchak Market....which is only open on weekends....

i liked that place alot actually.... although it was hot and quite packed...but maaaan...saw so many interesting things... and very cool stuuuf...and they were like...daaarn cheap maaan....

and i was really amazed at the fashion in thailand... i mean like.. no matter what kind of fashion style you have... you can definitely find your kind of style in thailand. and .... unlike in indonesia, where every shop kinda sells the same thing ...so if you've seen one.. it's as if you've seen it all...in thailand...everrryyy shop sells practically different things. so it was really cooool.

and guess what i found! they sell knives just like that man. cant help thinking about Ong Bak. I mean like maaaaan..... anyone could have picked it up and start slashing people....that is scaaaaryyy....

aniwae...brought my huge camping backpack cos i was anticipating this!

and that was only one-tenth of what we ended up with on the final day man.

after putting our stuff... we went to the Suan-Lum Night Bazaar.

here was where i found my cooool t-shirt. ahhahhaha....

this pic feels as if we were on Amazing Race Asia... ahhahaha..

that place was reaaally cool toooo... at the background of the above pic, is actually a huge stage where there were people singing and dancing.... and people were just sitting down drinking and chilling out. so cooool.

oh... i realised i havent introduced this guy. he's my sis' friend. He was going to bangkok for a meeting and came earlier to hang around with us for 2 days first. (good good... we have another person to help us carry stuff. ahahahhahaha)

cheeeeeeerss........!!!

next day

next day we went to chinatown. to get more stuff. and it was packed like shit too. uggggggh...

oh oh... ef.. didnt know Thais are so patriotic man... or... such a King loving people. saw lots of people wearing yellow that day man. we were like....what is happening maaan... at first i thot it's a religious thing...but it has something to do with the King doesnt it? and i heard my sis said that.... at around 6-ish... they would play the national anthem and everyone on the streets would stand still. is it true? and the tuktuk driver even have the King's picture in his tuktuk man.... i can somehow sense that he's a great man even without knowing the history of him man.... hehehehehehe...

and of course. Tuk Tuk.

in indonesia... we have our own version of tuk tuk....we have bajaj.

and i tell you.... i think the numebr of times i took the Tuktuk in thailand was more than the number of time i took bajaj in indo... ahhahahah....somehow when you are in other people's countries....you tend to try out all these things that you wont in your own country... ehheehhe....

and eeef... could you please explain that offensive odour in the menu please? ahahhaha.. i thot such things only happen in china....hehehehe....

thanks for advertising my country man...

king's bday is on 5th dec but we celebrate it for the whole year this year. On Monday, everybody wears a yellow t-shirt and many offices around Thailand 'force' (peer pressure or supervisor asking u to wear) their staff to wear the yellow t-shirt.

of course thailand has everything.. it's great... but tuk tuk can easily roll over when it turns u know... esp when those drivers like to drive like crazy.

the offensive odour is 'basil' that is my fav dish man... fried chicken with basil. what offensive odour !!! Sounds so disgusting...

JJ is a cool place. I hope u didn't buy any bottles of water coz.. there're rumours that they recycle the bottles and use sth to melt the plastic cap together again.
